The bleeding heart Tavern is part of a trinity of bleading heart establishments sat facing each other in a corner of Greville street. Theres the tavern (just drink), bistro (halfway house between food anddrink) and restaurant (food). The tavern mostly attracts custom from the clientele of the restaurant, going for a pre dinner aperatif or after work drink. Its packed full most evenings with lawyers, bankers and other suited and booted types, glad to wait for 15 minutes to order an over priced beer. The tavern seems tolive of the name of the restaurant which is in fact excellent. By all means go here if you plan to eat in the vicinity, but if a simple beer and a pack of peanuts is all you're after, dont bother.
Why not try heading down the road a bit further to the King of Hearts Pub or towards Smithfields to the Buthchers Hook instead? both have a bit more atmosphere, and will leave a smaller dent in your wallet. :-
