If you are a wine connoisseur and would liken to an underground cellar décor, visit this bar. It does what it says on the label, plus more. A cosy elegance oozes around you and is clearly a well loved bar as you will never find it empty. Being next to the Embankment tube and Charing Cross station, convenience causes over-flow of drinkers into the alley outside. There are chairs and tables for your bottoms and even on cooler autumn days some people brave sitting on the stone floor. You don’t have to spend a bomb to enjoy the wine, however, this makes it even easier to consume. Once tipsy, or even beforehand, you can please your appetite quickly from a buffet cart or choose from a traditional food menu, which is smaller than the wine menu. Surely, we are on to a winner.
